Howdy.
I’m Maddie Grube (groo-bee). I’m an art director, studio artist, cucumber hater, and horse girl living in New York City.
I graduated in 2018 from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in design and a BS in advertising.
These days, I work full-time in the pharmasphere (both HCP and DTC) and freelance in the consumer realm independently.
A passion for striking visuals is one that extends across every aspect of my life. From a classical training in charcoal portraiture, to my apartment of thrifted furniture I’ve been hoping will go viral on TikTok (come on, algorithm!), to now 6 years in pharmaceutical advertising making creatively compelling, polished work for a variety of clients. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in both fine art and advertising. I feel so lucky to have found a career path that perfectly marries both, allowing me to think both critically and artistically every single day. My favorite ideas have always come from the space between: the side conversations, the absent-minded doodles, and the half-jokes that turned out to have a very real insight.
